2026 Barksdale PTA Color Run Pledges

Our biggest fundraising event of the year!

Barksdale Elementary 2026 COLOR RUN fundraiser will take place
from September 6th to October 25th

The 2026 fundraising goal is $35,000!

The Barksdale Elementary Color Run raises money for so many of the amazing events and activities the PTA funds throughout the year like...

🎉class parties
📚book fair
and more!

REGISTER!
If you have not done so, REGISTER HERE to participate in the Color Run. Fill out the Registration Form per child.  

CUSTOMIZE RUNNER'S CAMPAIGN PAGE! 
1) Login to the Barksdale PTA website
2) Click on My Account
3) Scroll down to Fundraising Campaigns and click on your Runner/s
4) Upload their photo, add their name, customize your fundraising message, and set your fundraising goal

SPREAD THE WORD!
Share your page on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, text, and via email with family and friends. They can calculate donations one of two ways: 1) Give a flat donation NOW through October 25; or 2) Donate or collect pledges within a week after the Color Run based on number of laps completed (ACCESS YOUR PLEDGE PAGE HERE). Exciting prizes await at various fundraising milestones, so aim to raise as much as possible!

PRIZE! 
Only ONE grade will rise to the top! The Top Fundraising Grade wins a Special Prize Experience.  Team up, bring in those pledges, and show which grade has the most school spirit. 

RUN LAPS! 
Families should arrive at the Barksdale field at 5:30 pm.  Check in and grab your wristbands, so that all laps can be tallied during the run. Visit with friends and thank our sponsors before the whistle blows.  Running (or walking) begins at 6pm sharp and laps will be counted until 7pm.

COLLECT PLEDGES! 
Log into your student’s pledge page and submit all pledges by Sunday, October 25, 2026.
