Multicultural Night

Each year Barksdale Elementary celebrates its wonderfully diverse student body through the Multicultural Night. Experience food, culture, and music of countries around the world! Parent volunteers will set up educational tables about a country of their choice. Participants are encouraged to dress up in traditional clothing and visit each table to know the interesting facts, pictures, artwork, and food of different countries.

Showcase your Heritage!

Host a table and showcase the country of your choice. Make a poster board and share map, photos, history, or facts of your chosen country. Set up a table with food, artifacts, currency, or artwork. Barksdale PTA will provide the table, a tri-fold board, and a tablecloth. What country or culture would you like to showcase?
