After School Programs
Spring 2024 

The Barksdale PTA provides terrific after-school learning programs for our students. Registration occurs at the beginning of each semester. About 200 students participate every year in one or more of these programs. Programs typically last 9 to 13 weeks.

The After School Programs will be held on the following days as shown below. Drama and Chess programs start on January 22nd. Robotics, Zumba Kids, Zumba Jr., and Soccer programs will begin the week of January 29th. 

Register ASAP at afterschoolprograms@barksdalepta.org.

If you decide to enroll a child to participate in our After School Programs, at least TWO volunteer shifts will be required from parents/ guardians as part of the After School Enrichment program. Please sign up for a spot at VOLY today. 

NOTE: Students whose parents volunteer for at least 10 sessions will have their registration fees waived by the vendor. If interested, kindly email afterschoolprograms@barksdalepta.org.Filling these scholarship spots remove the volunteer requirement for all other parents. This allows us to open registration to everyone, see flyers for links.
